Palmer Inlet natural area
This site is not generally accessible to the public.
This small cove in the Country Club neighborhood of the Bronx totals 7 acres and consists mostly of land under water and a narrow rocky shoreline with a remnant frindge of salt marsh. Outside of Pelham Bay Park, this is one of the few stretches of shoreline in the densely developed Bronx along the western edge of Long Island Sound that still supports tidal wetlands habitat.
