This site is not generally accessible to the public.

The 84.9-acre Spring Creek Park lies along northern Jamaica Bay, spanning the border of Queens and Brooklyn. Along with several other parks along tributaries to Jamaica Bay, such as Marine Park, Four Sparrow Marsh, Fresh Creek Park, and Idlewild and Hook Creek Parks, it plays a vital role in the protection and preservation of Jamaica Bay. The park's large salt marsh supports a variety of wildlife, including great blue herons (Ardea herodias), red-winged blackbirds (Agelaius phoeniceus), and mallards (Anas platyrhynchos), as well as mammals such as raccoons (Procyon lotor), and muskrats (Ondatra zibethicus). The broad salt marsh at the creek's outlet also provides good foraging ground for diamondback terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin). Ongoing restoration efforts aim to restore degraded habitat and set the stage for future public access to this park.
