Tide Gate Bridge Construction

Due to construction on the Tide Gate Bridge, located on Meridian Road within Flushing Meadows Corona Park, vehicular traffic will not be allowed to cross the bridge in either direction. Please follow posted detour signs around Meridian Road and plan for additional travel time. Pedestrian traffic will still be permitted to cross the bridge.

Building Hours 6:00 a - 10:00 p 3:00 p - 6:00 p Al Oerter Afterschool Program Dance Room Al Oerter Afterschool Program Dance Room The NYC Parks Afterschool Program provides children ages 6 to 13 with academic support and physical activity in a safe, structured environment. This free program takes place on weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a critical time to engage school-aged children in structured activities and expose them to new interests. Programming is based around monthly themes supported by sports and fitness, arts and culture, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Our program complements what children are learning in school and strengthens their sense of belonging in the communities in which they live. Instructor: Rossette Contreras Ages: Child Registration not required.
