Membership Extension

For a limited time, we are offering qualifying members the opportunity to receive a 6-month membership extension.
To be eligible to receive the extension, you must meet all three qualification criteria:

          
  • You were an active member on January 14, 2025.
  •       
  • You visited Roy Wilkins Recreation Center between July 14, 2024, and January 14, 2025.
  •       
  • You are a paying member who possesses either an adult indoor pool membership or senior, veteran, or person with a disability membership.

If you believe you meet these qualifications, you may submit a request by completing the online form. The deadline to opt-in for the extension is November 16, 2025.

The Learn to Swim program puts the fun in fundamentals and teaches basic swimming and safety skills. Children and youth 6 to 17 years old gain basic swimming skills and learn how to stay safe in and around the water. Lottery based registration. October 18 is Mandatory Water Test Day. After your child takes the water test, they will either be placed in Learn to Swim Level 1 or Learn to Swim Level 2.
