NYC Parks' 43rd Annual Wreath Interpretations Exhibition

NYC Parks is decking the halls with wreaths that won’t leave you hanging! Wreath Interpretations returns to the Arsenal Gallery for its 43rd year, featuring nearly 40 handcrafted, imaginative wreaths.

While there’s a sense of circular reasoning to this annual tradition, you won’t be seeing any repeats! Wreaths featured in this exhibition are crafted using unexpected materials and motifs to add a touch of novelty to the holiday season.

From subject matter like the MTA switch to OMNY and the friendly gesture of a hand wave, to materials that include Legos, aluminum, and packing peanuts, visitors will encounter wreaths as diverse as the group of artists, Parks workers, and creative individuals who fabricated them.
