Talk with Dr. Phillip Papas - The Staten Island Peace Conference of September 1776: A Turning Point in the American Revolution

The Conference House Association is delighted to host Dr. Phillip Papas giving a FREE talk in the Colonial Kitchen at the Conference House Museum in Conference House Park.  Located at 7455 Hylan Blvd.

Dr. Phillip Papas is Senior Professor of History at Union College of Union County, New Jersey (UCNJ).  He earned his BA (History/Political Science) and MA (History) from Hunter College-CUNY and MPhil (History) and PhD (History) from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Papas is the author of That Ever Loyal Island: Staten Island and the American Revolution (2007), Renegade Revolutionary: The Life of General Charles Lee (2014), and co-author of Port Richmond (2009). He has also been featured in the documentary film Loyalty & Rebellion (2019) which was inspired by his book That Ever Loyal Island.
