Crescent Beach natural area

The Crescent Beach natural area includes a beach, small coastal bluffs, and a small salt marsh. The Park's 41. 5 acres is mostly land under water. Its name comes from a crescent-shaped sandbar that is only visible at low tide and extends from the foot of Wiman Avenue toward Crooke’s Point in Gateway National Recreation Area, which includes Great Kills Park, Gateway Park, and Crooke’s Point.
