Dyckman Street Sweep with Friends of Inwood Hill Park

Sunday, August 24, 2025

10:00 a.m.12:00 p.m.

Help keep your neighborhood clean and trash-free! We will be working along an area of Dyckman Street near Payson Playground that sees a lot of pedestrian traffic and, as a result, a lot of litter. Our focus will be on removing small plastic pieces (choking hazards for people, pets, and wild animals alike!) that wash down storm drains, and cigarette butts that contaminate the soil. Keeping the park clean makes the area safer and healthier for everyone!

Please bring water, clothes that can get dirty, and sturdy, comfortable shoes. All other supplies will be provided. Children under 13 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. If you haven’t already, please sign our annual waiver for 2025 (adult / minor).
