This event repeats every week on Monday between 9/15/2025 and 10/27/2025.
Join us this fall as we explore the changing seasons at Idlewild! In this 7-week afterschool program, Junior Naturalists will dive into the science of autumn through hands-on activities, games, and outdoor adventures. Each session combines fun indoor learning with time spent outdoors in the salt marsh, giving kids a chance to connect with nature while observing the magic of fall all around them.

Ecology Park is a five acre site set within Paerdegat Basin Park. The goal of the park is to promote habitat restoration and ecological improvement, highlighting fourteen native plant community types that exist or once existed in New York City.
