Goodbye Cruel World: A New Play Reading

Sunday, October 26, 2025

3:00 p.m.6:00 p.m.

Creative Women New York presents a staged reading of Goodbye Cruel World, a new play by Carey Campbell.

In this existential comedy, five college friends now in their fifties, gather for one of their weekly hangouts. When, without warning one of them drops a bombshell of a decision, their relationship unravels as each begins to question the meaning and outcome of their individual lives. Unearthed secrets, disappointments, and regrets, reveal that maybe they haven't been as close as they thought.

Creative Women New York is a non-profit theatre arts and producing organization, powered by women, and inclusive of all. Please RSVP for the event here
