Climate Week NYC: Shoreline Ecosystem Resilience
Monday, September 22, 2025
3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
Celebrate Climate Week with NYC Parks! Join the Urban Park Rangers as we discuss the immediate and long-term effects of climate change on our sea levels and coastal ecology and how natural spaces have fared during severe weather events such as storm surge and superstorms. We will also discuss what is currently in the works for remediation and conservation as we walk the Arverne Nature Preserve.
