To facilitate the installation of water supply lines at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, the scope of work involves installing copper tubing, backflower prevention device (RPZ), curb valve, and property line valve. The process includes trenching through the street, sidewalk, and garden, followed by restoration of the path. The project aims to minimize impact on park features and avoid tree roots.

Project Update: The schematic design for this project has been approved internally at Parks and is now going through review by the community board and external regulatory agencies for comment and approval.

The budget approval documents are currently under review by the NYC Office of Management and Budget.
