W. 19 Rd. bet Jamaica Bay and Cross Bay Blvd., Queens

Meeting Location: Sunset Cove parking lot at West 22nd Road and Shad Creek Road

Description: Volunteer with the Stewardship team to protect coastal areas of Sunset Cove Park! Together, we will work to dismantle herbivory fencing and pick up garbage in Sunset Cove's restored saltmarsh. Please come dressed in warming layers and sturdy boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Please do NOT wear Crocs. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. To sign up a group of 5 or more volunteers, please reach out to stewardship@parks.nyc.gov.
