Volunteer Workday: Abib Newborn
Saturday, October 11, 2025
11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
GreenThumb community gardens are developed, led, and cared for by dedicated volunteer gardeners who critically upkeep them as public green spaces.
Join Abib Newborn Garden and GreenThumb for a volunteer workday to prune fruit trees, move soil and mulch, and reorganize the garden's shed. This is a great opportunity to learn how to join a community garden while supporting an essential community space. Beginners are welcome! No prior experience necessary. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and bring water and snacks. Note: Some tasks may involve lifting heavy materials and extended periods of bending, squatting, and moving.
Please note: There are active beehives in the garden.
