The Neighbors Market
Saturday, October 18, 2025
11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
The Neighbors Market is a bi-annual pop market held in Staten Island neighborhoods with high food insecurity rates. Our goal is to provide access to fresh, healthy, and affordable produce and mobilize residents around local issues pertaining to food Justice.
This year’s Neighbors Market is focused on organizing neighbors and community members around transforming Hill Street Garden into a community-owned resource. This is a unique opportunity for Stapleton residents to come together, learn the skills needed to restore the garden, and be part of building a collective effort to ensure gardens in Stapleton serve our community for years to come.
Here’s what else you can find at The Neighbors Market:
- Fresh and culturally-diverse produce sold on a sliding scale from $0 up to $10
- FREE meal kits – the first 25 families to register will receive them
- Cooking demonstrations for low-cost, seasonal, and healthy meals
- Gardening and seed demonstrations
- Arts and crafts for kids
- Community-based organizations
Entrance is FREE! However, if you’d like to receive produce or a meal kit, registration is required. Please click here to RSVP.
