Healing with Herbs: Tinctures, Salves, and Teas
Sunday, October 19, 2025
10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Rodale Pleasant Park Community Garden is excited to welcome the fall season with a FREE hands-on series focused on herbal remedy making. Learn to craft natural remedies—like tinctures, salves, and teas—using herbs that grow naturally in NYC. Discover the healing properties of these plants and create personalized blends to support your wellness. You’ll leave with the remedies you make and the skills to recreate them at home. (While supplies last)
There will be two sessions of this series on Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (both days). These workshops are designed to empower community members with the knowledge and skills to identify, cultivate and prepare medicinal herbs found right in our own neighborhoods. No prior experience needed — just bring your curiosity, a friend, a water bottle, and get ready for an inspiring day in nature.
- Saturday, October 11: Craft Salves, Poultices, Infusions and Teas
- Sunday, October 19: Craft Tinctures, Glycerites and Teas.
