Volunteer Workday: El Flamboyan Community Garden

GreenThumb community gardens are developed, led, and cared for by dedicated volunteer gardeners who critically upkeep them as public green spaces.

El Flamboyan, is a community garden group led by local residents. The residents are creating a green space open to all. Join us for a hands-on volunteer day to help beautify the gardens curb appeal, we will be moving beds, planting Tulip Bulbs, and placing landscape edging. No prior experience necessary - beginners are welcome! We provide all tools and create an open learning environment!

This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic community space while learning about urban agriculture. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and bring water and snacks. Note: Some tasks may involve lifting heavy materials and extended periods of bending, squatting, and moving.
