Forest Friday - Northwest Forest

Remove invasive species from the Northwest Forest. Promote biodiversity, protect young trees, and maintain trails.

When: Fridays, 10 -1pm in December through March

Where: Van Cortlandt Park - VCPA Learning Garden (across from the Riverdale Stables)

What to bring: Long pants, closed-toe shoes, water

No experience needed - we provide tools, gloves, and teach forest ecology as we work.

Ages 15+ welcome.

Minors must have parents sign a volunteer waiver.

Limited to 30 volunteers. Groups of 6+ email noel@vancortlandt.org
