Kids Week: Survival Skills for Kids

Even when school's out, our parks are still the city's natural classroom! Bring your kids to parks throughout the city for Kids Week during Winter Recess. With programs led by our Urban Park Rangers, kids will get to experience nature in a hands-on and fun way. Join the Urban Park Rangers and learn what it takes to survive the winter elements. Rangers will go over map reading skills, building a tent, and the basics of fire building. Team up with your family and bond over these team building activities.
