Seeding for The Future Workshop

Come learn how to sow, save, and store seeds at the Seeding for the Future workshop at First Street Garden! We'll go through the foundations for germination, how to support the seedling once they have grown their true leaves, and talk about the importance of saving seeds (genetic importance). Many people destroy their seeds from improperly storing them. Our activity will consist of making an upcycled "greenhouse" from water bottles, sowing seeds, and making clay seed bombs for those interested. Free seeds will be available.
