Organizing for Garden Success: Tackling Your Toolshed

Saturday, October 18, 2025

11:00 a.m.1:00 p.m.

Join Community Garden Coordinator Hannah Wargo for a hands-on workshop on making the most of your garden shed. Learn how to organize your space efficiently—what tools to keep within easy reach, what can be stored away, and which shelving and containers work best. We'll also cover how to protect your tools and supplies from cold-weather damage and maintain and repair your shed structure to ensure it stays in excellent condition for years to come.

NYC Parks GreenThumb hosts this event. We are proud to be the nation’s most extensive urban community gardening program, sustaining over 550 gardens throughout New York City. With GreenThumb’s support, community gardens are centers of environmental justice, ensuring that our city is fairer, safer, and greener for all. GreenThumb’s events are free and open to the public.
