Arts, Culture and Fun: Bertha Hope - Solo Piano Concert

Join NYC Parks and the Jazz Foundation of America for a solo concert by one of jazz's living legends, pianist/composer Bertha Hope. Having toured globally with artists like Nat Adderley, Dizzy Gillespie and Eddie Henderson, Ms. Hope has several albums under her own leadership and is also a respected educator and bandleader.  She has been honored with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem's Legends of Jazz Award, the Jazz Foundation of America's Lifetime Achievement Award, the Bronx Music Heritage Center's Bronx Living Legend award, and an inaugural Jazz Legacy Fellowship.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
